Common fault analysis of Cummins generator set

time:2022-03-29 15:04:57 ctr:

one The diesel generator set cannot be started

1. The battery on the diesel generator is dead

2. The starting motor is damaged

3. The halfway system is damaged

4. The fuel stop valve is faulty

5. The controller is damaged

6. The control line breaks or the fuse opens

7. Other mechanical failures of diesel generator sets such as shaft holding or shaft breaking

two The diesel generator set is difficult to start

1. The battery is low

2. Start the motor to drag the bottom

3. The fuel quality is poor or the label is too high

4. The battery cable of the diesel generator set is loose

5. The ambient temperature is too low (need to preheat to the required temperature before starting)

6. The diesel pump is not working well or the connecting screw is loose and slipping

7. The pump core is stuck

8 Diesel engine cylinder pulling or burning tile

3. The diesel generator set has no voltage or the voltage is unstable

1. The regulator plate of the diesel generator set is damaged

2. The diode is damaged

3. The connection line between the regulator plate and the electric ball is loose and broken or the fuse is open

4. The wear of large electric ball bearing of the generator set exceeds the standard seriously, causing damage to PMG stator, excitation stator and main electric ball stator

5. Voltmeter is broken or the connection line is broken

Four. The diesel generator set has no frequency or the frequency is unstable

1 Generator set no voltage caused no frequency

2. The speed regulating board is damaged

3. The ACT/MPU connection line of the diesel generator set is broken or has poor contact

4. Pump core wear or hairpin

5. The MPU clearance is too large or bad

6. The diesel pipe is broken/the oil line has air

Five. When the oil pressure of the diesel generator set is normal, the oil pressure alarm or stop

1. The oil pressure (alarm/stop) switch is damaged

2. Connect the alarm/stop switch to the ground

3. The controller is damaged

Six. Low oil pressure of diesel generator set

1. The oil pressure probe or gauge is damaged

2. Insufficient oil/oil level below "L" level

3. The machine oil pump is badly worn and the pump oil is not enough

4. The maintenance cycle has passed or the oil grid is too dirty

5. The oil circuit is blocked

6. Oil deterioration or viscosity (model) is wrong

7. Oil cooler blockage can not reach the cooling effect to thin the oil

8. The spindle tile/connecting rod tile/the related bushing wear exceeds the standard seriously and the leakage is too large

9. Oil cooling nozzle is damaged

Seven. Diesel generator sets water temperature alarm when the water temperature is normal

1. The water temperature (alarm/stop) switch is damaged

2. Connect the alarm/stop switch to the ground

3. The controller is damaged

Eight. The diesel generator has high water temperature

1. The water temperature probe or water temperature gauge is damaged

2. Water shortage in the tank

3. The radiator fin of the tank is too dirty

4. The fan belt is loose or broken

5. The heat dissipation vent of the water tank is blocked

6. The pump belt is loose or broken

7. The water pump is damaged

8. Overload operation of diesel generator set

9. The external circulating water pump or cooling tower fan of the water cooling unit is damaged

10. The cooling water tower is short of water or the pipe is blocked

11. The thermostat is damaged

Nine. Black smoke is emitted during operation of diesel generator sets

1. The style is dirty

2. The supercharger is damaged

3. Nozzle precision coupling failure poor atomization

4. Excessive wear of valve mechanism (valve/seat ring/rocker/jacking rod, etc.)

Ten. The exhaust gas of diesel generator set is large in operation

1. Large piston ring wear (normal wear and caused by low oil pressure or poor oil quality)

2. Excessive wear of cylinder liner (same reason as above)

3. Diesel engine has cylinder pulling phenomenon (overload, high water temperature and poor oil quality)

4. There is water in the oil pan

11. Increased oil

1. There is water at the bottom of the oil

2. There is diesel oil in the oil base

12. There is water in the oil pan of diesel generator set (oil turns white)

1. Rupture of outdoor smoke pipe or silencer (oil remains white but increases)

2. The intercooler is broken

3. Trachoma in the cylinder liner (the unit has been used for too long or has not been corroded by anti-rust water)

4. Aging of cylinder liner rubber ring

5. Diesel engine cylinder pulling (cylinder liner rupture)

6. Cylinder head rupture or water block perforation

Xiii. Diesel in the oil bottom of diesel generator set (oil thinning)

1. Fuel stop valve wear and close loosely (the inlet/outlet of the tank is higher than the nozzle in the case of static)

2. Poor atomization of the nozzle drops oil (in the case of working)

3. Aging nozzle rubber ring

4. Oil cup ruptured

5.STC valve is not working properly

6. Copper tip of oil nozzle is damaged
